Graduates of the Bootcamp program who have since participated in the Alumni program and are engaged in ongoing Industry Employment are invited back in a mentoring and leadership role. They help to lead workshops, support student project development and assist with the smooth running of the Bootcamp.

In 2023, seven alumni came out as part of the program, five in volunteer positions, and two in paid Griffith Film School staff positions. Positions vary from general mentors, program support and event managers.

The leadership program and subsequent opportunities is well sought after by graduates, a testament to the positive experience that students have in Winton.

Going from student to a part of the leadership team in Winton was a tremendous opportunity for professional growth. Being given the agency to develop my existing skills while also fostering new ones was a valuable learning experience.

Having been a part of the Winton trip as both a student and a mentor, I can’t say enough about the positive impact that the strong team of mentors has had.
