Professionally, I am a video editor and freelance photographer, operating out of Brisbane and beyond. When I'm not doing these things, I enjoy my time outdoors, painting, going on long bike rides, and kicking back with friends. Getting outside has always been my source of fuel for filmmaking - the people, land, and stories are what it's all about!

This is what attracted me to the Kolperi programs, and I have participated in several before coming on as a mentor - from remote villages in Vanuatu, to the fringes of Queensland, Winton - these experiences have been instrumental to how I view the world of film. Coming on as a mentor in 2023 came with its own set of challenges to overcome, and it was an incredibly rewarding three weeks.

Kolperi has fostered my understanding of networking, leadership, confidence, and a connection to our environment - all skills that require practical experience to grasp.

After graduating from Griffith Film School, I began freelancing in video editing. Eventually, I was lucky enough to work and learn from Bob Blasdall on a show for Channel 10. During this, I was able to pick up various connections which led to work in short films, weddings, and music videos. I have been lucky enough to continue to freelance and engage in other opportunities, such as stage management, photography, and videography work. I am set to edit my first feature film at the end of this year. Filming starts in late September in Winton as part of the Kolperi Co-Industry Production program.
